Moving Forward

I'm making strides at the new job in changing procesess over to more modern, more efficient methods. It is beneficial to the business and less boring for me, so its a win-win. All the time spent on these tasks has me behind the 8-ball on some other tasks, so I'm going to be playing catch up for probably the rest of the month.

Busy B is moving forward too. We've been dabbling with the potty. If she asked to use it, we'd help her and praise her to the heavens when she tried. We really only encourage her to use it before her bath though. Twice this week, at my in-laws she took off all her clothes, all by herself and went and used the potty without a word to anyone about it - well until she needed help getting her clothes back on. One of those times she even pooped! She has also asked to get out of the tub 3 or 4 times in the last two weeks to go pee. I'm thinking of staying at home over the whole Memorial day weekend and trying her out in cotton training panties. We'll see.

John had an interview on Tuesday, and he has another one on Friday afternoon. Wish him luck. It sounds like a great opportunity for him. It will be a panel interview with 3 applicants (who may or may not be applying for the same position) and two people from the company. It sounds nervewracking to me, but John can handle it. This would get him out of the tanking auto-industry and into retail. He really enjoyed working retail in high school and his early 20's, so I think it would be a good fit for him.
