Like Father, Like Daughter

Brooklynn is reminding me more and more that she is her father’s daughter.

• She wants to hold the remote any time it is in her line of sight.
• She rolled over on her stomach in her sleep the other day and slept just like her dad – one arm above her head, one arm curled under her, one knee bent and the other straight.
• She must be thirsty (John is always thirsty) and anytime someone is drinking, she tries to grab their glass/bottle/can. We’ve let her try some water (pedi said that was fine) and she’s not sure what she thinks of it.
• She farts and thinks its funny.
• She is happiest when she’s naked.
• She is either in constant motion or asleep – no middle ground really.
• She prefers to be barefoot.
• She likes to hear herself talk.
• She could always go for a snack.
• She seems to like to wear a ball cap.
