It's a Wrap
This is my wrapping station for the birthday and holiday season. It is set up in the attic. The attic is a little treasure at our new house. There isn't a basement, but this space and also the man cave (finished room in the detached garage) give us ample storage.
The attic was orignally going to be an open loft with a small staircase down into the upstairs great room. The family then decided to close it off for storage and turn the area where the stairs would have been on the second floor into the computer closet. They put pull down attic steps in the 2nd floor master bedroom. The walls are finished and there are light fixtures as well as a window. The floors are not finished, with the plywood subfloor exposed.
It is great storage space, but it also makes a nice area to keep crafts or this wrapping station out of the way. We have more things that need to be moved up here from our rented storage unit, where we had to keep things like Christmas decor and off-season supplies like the travel grill, bike trailer...etc. Some of that stuff can go in the garage or man-cave, but the baby stuff and Christmas stuff will soon call this attic space home. Just as soon as I get up the motivation....
